Westbank First Nation lands homes for sale
IR 10 lies opposite Kelowna by the bridge; IR 9 sits by Westbank Centre along Highway 97. Together they hold a large share of the Westside's shopping, the Two Eagles Golf Course (18 holes plus a driving range), Lakeridge Park and many strata communities, and they're home to more than 11,000 non-member residents. Homes here are usually leasehold, registered in the WFN Lands Registry rather than the BC Land Title Office. That changes tax, tenancy and financing. Read chapter 07 before you make an offer.
Check before you buy: years remaining on the lease, prepaid versus annual rent, lender appetite in writing, and WFN tax and utility costs. Tip from the City: if an address returns "no results" on the City's WestMap zoning map, it may be on WFN land.
